Napoleon Dynamite is about a boy who must deal with his crazy family, while going to high school in a small town that everyone wants to get out of, and trying to help a friend of his get elected. Needless to say, it is funny and realistic. As a bonus, after being released, a lot of people came to know who  Jon Heder was truly able to do.
