Do No Harm tells the story of two reluctant whistleblowers in a small Georgia town who endure relentless attacks as they struggle to draw national attention to hospital corruption and the plight of the uninsured. In 2003, Dr. John Bagnato and accountant Charles Rehberg stumbled upon evidence that non-profit Phoebe Putney Hospital was overcharging uninsured and indigent patients and had stashed millions of dollars in offshore bank accounts. As Bagnato and Rehberg dig deeper, they find these practices not only at Phoebe, but at non-profit hospitals all around the country. Shockingly, this is all entirely legal. With their reputations and livelihoods on the line, Bagnato and Rehberg are forced to confront precisely what they're willing to sacrifice in an attempt to bring about justice.
