Soon, the Sedona Film Festival will kick off its 24th annual international film festival. It is a celebration of independent films from all over the world. If you choose to be a part of the festival, you will be able to spend nine days enjoying more than 160 films of all types from foreign student films to documentaries. It is one of the top festivals in the nation and each year it becomes bigger and better than the year before. The festival itself will take place on at the end of February and into the first of March, but there are opportunities to watch films all year long. The Last Year

Over the last year, there have been more than 447 programs for you to enjoy and they were all being shown at the Sedona Film Festival. There were feature films, educational programs, arts, live shows, and Broadway shows for people to enjoy. There were movies and more for all types of people and their preferences. It is all made possible by the people who create independent films and the people who love them enough to keep watching. It is made possibly by people attending events, becoming members, sponsoring, and more.

The Movies You Love

Some of last years winning movies included titles such as Burn Burn Burn, The Sandbox, Perfume War, and Curpigeon, which is an animated movie that was ranked as best. The best documentary film was A Plastic Ocean. The best foreign film was FRANTZ. As an audience member who has seen the films, you have the opportunity to cast a vote for your favorites, even if it doesn’t agree with the director’s choice awards. Perhaps you would have chosen the movie Breathe or agreed with the audience and chose Wabooz as the best animated film. You could have been the one to break the tie between Blood & Glory and Wild Prairie Rose.
